1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and purchasing from the KaitenLab website ("the Site"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," "your") and KaitenLab ("we," "us," "our"). If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use or make purchases from our Site.

2. Products and Orders

KaitenLab sells high-quality notebooks & planners, writing instruments, and measurement tools. All product descriptions, images, and prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit sales, discontinue products, or correct errors in pricing or product information. Your order constitutes an offer to purchase, which we accept upon sending an order confirmation email. We may cancel any order at our sole discretion.

3. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, KaitenLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Site or products purchased, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunity. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory of the claim.

We do not guarantee that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or completely secure. You use the Site and our products at your own risk.

4. Intellectual Property Protection

All content on the KaitenLab Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, product designs, and software, is the exclusive property of KaitenLab or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The "KaitenLab" name and logo are our trademarks.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and make personal, non-commercial use of the Site. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information or content obtained from the Site without our express written permission.

5. Refund & Return Policy

We strive for complete customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return most new, unopened, and unused items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the product price. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (e.g., incorrect or defective item shipped).

To initiate a return, please contact our support team at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return. Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed to your original method of payment within a reasonable period.

Items must be returned in their original packaging and condition. Sale items and personalized/customized products are final sale and not eligible for return unless defective.

6. General Provisions

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.

If any provision of these terms is deemed unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
